It's almost a requirement on a first trip to Los Angeles - a bus tour of movie stars' homes.

And those who paid out for a tour around Beverly Hills yesterday cetainly got their money's worth, when they stumbled across the rare sight of David Beckham wearing just a pair of pants as he shot a new underwear campaign for H&M.

The footballer grinned sheepishly as he caught sight of the bus, which appeared to be full of tourists, while making a dash for his car following the shoot.

Beckham, who was wearing just a small pair of dark green underpants, shared a joke with the busload as he was spotted on location in Beverly Hills, California.

He was later spotted making a dash back through the undergrowth to the shoot location.

On Monday, the 37-year-old confessed that he favours 'tighty-whities' over more loose-fitting boxers.

Speaking at the Time Warner Cable Sportsnet launch in El Segundo, David told Celebuzz: 'I mean, I like tighty-whities. Someone asked me about tighty whities the other day, and I love them!

'They’re comfortable. I think they feel great, especially when you’re playing soccer, as well. It’s [comfortable]. But I wear boxers as well.'

David's debut Bodywear collection introduced nine underwear styles when it launched in February.

The collection was designed by David’s in-house team and sold exclusively at H&M, with the focus on 'fit, function, comfort and design' across the range of briefs, boxers, vests, T-shirts and pyjamas.

David also opened up about his adorable 15-month-old daughter Harper at the event, explaining she is a 'good mix' of both he and his fashion designer wife Victoria.

Speaking at the Time Warner SportsNet launch party, he added to Us Weekly: 'She's great. She's been running around for a few months now, so we're all chasing her and catching her when she falls. It's great to have another lady in the house.

Meanwhile, wife Victoria has provided plenty of giggles within the One Direction camp after Liam Payne revealed the moment he first met the singer-turned-fashion designer.

The pair came face-to-face at the London Olympic Games closing ceremony, where the What Makes You Beautiful hitmaker attempted to plant a kiss on Victoria's cheek.

Speaking of the incident, Liam said: 'It suddenly dawned on me as we were waiting to perform that I was sat in a math class at school when it was announced that London was hosting the Games.

'Then, suddenly we are up there singing to the stadium. I couldn't believe it.
'I met Victoria Beckham and tried to play it cool by giving her a kiss on both

cheeks. She just recoiled a bit and looked shocked after the first kiss. I don't think she really wanted that kind of greeting.'

Liam told Examiner: 'Louis Tomlinson from our band stood next to me p***ing himself.'

Another front-row seat: Harper swaps fashion for football during a day out with doting daddy David Beckham

She's already begun her sartorial education by attending some of the world's most-coveted fashion shows alongside her designer mummy, Victoria Beckham.

But this weekend, little Harper spent some time swotting up on the other Beckham family business - football.

Stepping out in Los Angeles with her doting daddy David, the 14-month-old tot watched her older brothers Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, seven, in action on the pitch.

And it would seem the adorable youngster has already decided which of the family trades she prefers, as Harper looked more than a little bored as she took up her front-row seat for the game.

David seemed to be trying his hardest to entertain his cherished daughter, pointing out her brothers to her on the pitch and perhaps explaining the offside rule in great detail.

But his efforts were in vain, with little Harper demonstrating nowhere near as much excitement as she did at Victoria Beckham's New York Fashion Week show earlier this month.

Being ever the doting father, the 37-year-old footballer showered the super-cute tot with attention, playing games with her and whooshing her up into the air.

And the proud father made sure to treat little Harper to a huge kiss as they took a break from watching the game.

The mini fashionista was showing off a much sportier look than usual, casting aside her pretty dresses and hair bows for a simple white top, tiny jeans and adorable black baby Converse trainers.

Meanwhile, David chose a casual look for his weekend father-daughter bonding session, wearing a white crew-neck T-shirt, grey jogging bottoms and a bright red Adidas baseball cap.

As well as accompanying her fashion designer mum to a whole host of the world's hottest shows in recent months, little Harper appeared to try her hand at modelling during New York Fashion Week.

Earlier this month, Victoria tweeted a picture of the tot toddling down the runway ahead of her highly-anticipated Spring/Summer 2013 show at New York Fashion Week.

The LA Galaxy footballer was seen on a trip to the supermarket at Whole Foods in Santa Monica, California yesterday (Thursday), where he picked up groceries and was spotted eyeing up the wine.

Usually fashionable David has his own range of H&M underwear and is often pictured looking dapper at events.

'The rumours are not true, but that doesn't stop them being hurtful.'

Shouldn't you be watching the Olympics? David Beckham shows off his custom chopper in Los Angeles days after proudly driving torch down the Thames

After putting in years of work to bring the Olympics to London you would think David Beckham would be glued to his television screen.

But the English legend preferred to show off his riding skills today as he took his custom built 93 Knucklehead for a spin in Los Angeles.

The midfielder looked quite the bad boy as he zoomed through the streets of Venice astride his classic chopper.

All the hoopla that followed the 37-year-old's appearance at the opening ceremony of the event last week seemed to have been forgotten as he enjoyed a relaxing lunch in the trendy Venice Beach area.

Much was made of the fact he was left out of the Great Britain Olympic football squad, despite the fact the past-his-best star is playing in the much maligned MLS in the U.S.

However his work to get the UK selected as the host nation was rewarded, as he got to pretend to steer the speedboat carrying the Olympic flame to Sir Steve Redgrave during the opening ceremony, who then ran the torch into the stadium.

The former Manchester United player looked far removed from the traditional biker image of leather jacket and jeans.

Instead he donned a pair white trousers, brown shoes, black T-shirt and a suede coat.

But it seems David had a good excuse not to be home watching the sport, as he needs all the practice he can get for a road trip with foul-mouthed chef Gordon Ramsay.

According to the Daily Mirror, the big bike enthusiasts will embark on a 382-mile trip along the Pacific Coast Highway, from Los Angeles to San Francisco.

Goldenballs will ride his custom-built 93 Knucklehead, while Ramsay will be on his £20,000 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

But he is not the only big name David likes to ride with - he's also joined Tom Cruise for a spin in the past.

The macho pair started the Midnight Boys Bike Club at the end of 2010, so they can enjoy sessions in the Hollywood Hills together.

And despite his busy schedule over the next few days, David couldn't wait to spend some quality time with his two favourite 'girls' - wife Victoria and their daughter Harper.

Ahead of his meeting with the Prime Minister in Downing Street, Becks joined Posh and their little girl for lunch in Notting Hill.

Victoria, 38, looked chic as usual in a putty/cream contrast collar wool dress from her Victoria by Victoria Beckham collection, which she teamed with a pair of tan wedge sandals.

Little Harper, who turned one earlier this month, looked adorable in a white broderie anglais dress, tan sandals and a silver alice band.

The trio were lunching at the exclusive London 202 restaurant ahead of David's meeting with David Cameron, where they discussed child hunger.

Earlier this week, Beckham confirmed he would have a 'small part' in Friday's extravaganza.

It comes after Beckham was controversially snubbed a place in Team GB men's football team by coach Stuart Pearce.

However, as he was such an important role of London's Olympic bid in 2005, the games chairman Lord Coe has asked him to be involved.

The Beckhams have been in the UK since early July, with Victoria taking middle son Romeo for a day trip to Paris earlier this week.
